Big news for big feet; BigShoes.ie now has a physical retail store in Dublin!

For years, BigShoes.ie has helped men across Ireland find something that really shouldn’t be difficult: great big shoes that actually fit.

If you wear a larger shoe size, you’ll know the frustration. You walk into a shoe shop, find something you like, ask for your size…and hear the all-too-familiar:

“Sorry, we only go up to a size 12.”

That’s exactly the problem BigShoes.ie exists to solve.

And now, we’re taking a huge step forward.

Our online store isn’t going anywhere — in fact, we have much bigger plans for it.

One of the biggest differences with BigShoes.ie is simple:

Large sizes are not a small section at the back of our shop. They’re the reason the shop exists.

We want someone with big feet to walk through our doors and experience something completely different from the usual shoe-shopping experience.

Instead of asking:

That distinction is at the heart of what we’re building.

Why Dublin 2?

We wanted BigShoes.ie to be accessible.

Our new home at 11–15 Erne Street Upper, Dublin 2 gives us a physical base right in Dublin city centre. We even have car parking behind the shop!

It means customers can now travel into Dublin, visit us, try on multiple styles and sizes and actually speak to someone about what they’re looking for.

For customers outside Dublin, our online shop continues to serve customers throughout Ireland.

The shop isn’t replacing BigShoes.ie online.

It’s making BigShoes.ie bigger.

More Than Just Opening a Shop

For us, this isn’t simply about putting stock on shelves and opening the doors at 10am.

It’s the next stage in what we want BigShoes.ie to become.

We believe people with bigger feet have been underserved by traditional footwear retail for far too long. The choice becomes smaller as the shoe size gets bigger; precisely when finding the right fit becomes more important.

We want to change that.

We’re expanding our ranges, adding new brands, searching for better products and constantly looking for footwear that goes further into the larger sizes.

And having a physical store gives us something incredibly valuable: direct contact with our customers.
